The last few weeks I’ve been using MindNode for iPad to keep track of meeting conversations and idea generation. Today the app is available in the new Mac App Store for the desktop. It may have been available before now, but today was the first time I noticed.
MindNode is amazing at capturing non-linear brainstorms or conversations in a way that’s easy exported in the form of an outline after the meeting. Recently, I dumped everything that was on my mind about a website project right into MindNode. At the end I was able to export a bulleted outline that I could easily hand off to others involved in the project or even quickly import into an app like Basecamp or Action Method. It takes a little getting used to the interface if you’re not used to mind-mapping software, but once you get over that hump, it’s well worth it.
